We had the most FABULOUS time in Miami, Florida this week. We attended a huge conference, hosted by Entrepreneur Magazine. We have been going to their conferences since 2008 and always have a phenomenal time learning and implementing some of the things we have learned. We also had the opportunity to connect with some fantastic entrepreneurs, one of whom we are thinking of partnering with to give us a huge presence in the whole Miami, FL area, which will allow us to have access to all of the building’s clients. That’s what it’s all about: making connections and learning.
If you are going to play tourist, you MUST pay a visit to the American Airlines Center. It is located right on the waterfront in downtown Miami. It is equivalent to the Staples Center in Los Angeles. For those looking for great photo opportunities, this is the place to do it!
If you are looking to do some shopping and staying downtown, you don’t even have to get in your car. Everything is within walking distance, including the Baysside Marketplace, which is located on the water, as well. This place has everything, from unique shops to entertainment to many dining options. You can also take boat cruises.
Speaking of boat cruises, you MUST take a boat cruise to Star Island, where you can get a close view of expansive homes by stars, such as Will and Jada Smith, Elizabeth Taylor, P. Diddy, and Gloria Estafan, to name a few. It’s a tour well worth it’s $21.00!
If you have not been to Miami yet, you are in for a treat when you do go. Where to stay is a dream come true. The options are unlimited. We chose to stay downtown, right in the heart of things, at the Hyatt Regency Miami.
Bottom line: if you love fun in the sun, riding with the top down as we did, and enjoy a great atmosphere, Miami is where you need to be.
