Hurricane Irene was originally classified as a category 2 hurricane. She has since been downgraded to a category 1 hurricane. What does this mean? It means the wind level has dropped from 100 mph to about 85 mph. This is enough to still cause some serious damage. Her path is reaching inland as much as 180 miles. But just how bad is this tornado, even with a downgrade to 1?

Not too good.

We found this video of a satellite image of Hurricane Irene. It is amazing, technology.

Check it out HERE.

Please take shelter if you have not done so already. It is better to be safe than sorry.
